The world of success is always open to the dynamic, keen, confident and courageous youth. Dearth of talent never being in doubt among the youth success is sure and inevitable.

The present day youth majority of them being students though endowed with unbridled energy and enthusiasm, vocal and boisterous when in a group of their own feel unnerved to be on stage, hesitant to face an audience tend to succumb to pressure and tension. They even develop cold feet and draw unto their shell on such occasions whenever they are required to present themselves expressively. Fear of stage grapples them and an eerie silence follows.

An ideal solution to step out of such a predicamental fear is to practice the art of perfection. Empowerment therefore is the keyword and the best way to forecast the future is to create it.

Workshop for College students

Sathva conducted a one day workshop on 09th June 2002 at COSTED, UNESCO Conference hall, Chennai with an objective to equip the students with skills which would enable them to secure a livelihood.

The workshop focused on Team Building, Goal setting and Communication Skills. The interactive session included management games, team building, group discussion and mock interview. The faculties for the day’s interactive session included Mr. Saranathan, Director Customer Broadcast India Pvt Ltd, Mr. Muralidharan Editor of Business Line and Mr. Venkataraman, HR Manager of AMI India Pvt. Ltd.,

Workshop on Leadership Skills

On 29th December 2002 at COSTED, UNESCO Conference hall, Chennai witnessed the beginning of the Sathva leadership programme with an aim to identify and groom young leaders.

Eminent personalities from the corporate world Mr. Saranathan, Director Customer Broadcast India Pvt Ltd and Dr. Radhakrishnan, CEO People and Systems trained the participants on Leadership Skills and Transactional Analysis.

Project management skills

Sathva had organized a one day project management programme on 6th November 2003 at Cultural Gallery Hall, Chennai for all its members to equip them with the basics of Project management to help them handle various projects with greater efficiency and productivity.

Social Entrepreneurship

The president of Sathva participated in the UGC Sponsored Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship to address the students of Stella Maris, Chennai on 05th March 2009 on the Dimensions and Challenges faced by a NGO in meeting their objectives
